AAA Open-World First-Person Shooter

Originally brought on as a Senior UI Designer, I was later promoted to Lead UI Designer. I contributed to both gameplay HUD and menu interface design, while leading a team of six UI designers to ensure quality, consistency, and production efficiency across the project.

Key contributions:

  • Designed gameplay HUD elements to support immersive and intuitive player experience.

  • Created menu interfaces, including inventory, map, and system menus.

  • Led a team of six UI designers, providing direction, mentorship, and feedback.

  • Established efficient UI production workflows and design pipelines.

  • Collaborated closely with UX, game design, and engineering teams to align functionality and aesthetics.

  • Ensured consistency and polish across UI systems to meet AAA quality standards.

HUD & MENUS

Collaborated with the lead game designer and game designers to design the game's HUD and menus, while leading the UI designers responsible for creating all in-game UI elements.

DESIGN COMPASS

Proposed the initial iteration of the compass design and refined it based on player feedback.
